Cannot open older version NC and CNC files with the new editor

Version V17 through 21 and below offered a compressed file format. .NC and .CNC .
Files saved under this format are compressed. These compressed files can only be opened by older versions of BobCAD.
To open these files in a newer version or to open them with any other text editor (like notepad) the file must be opened by the older software then saved as a text type format.
The text format can bear any file extension, to edit the file extension used by the older version BobCAD change the setting on the NC side of the software , click on file then setup change the extension to text files to the desired extension.. EXAMPLE (.TXT Or .TAP).
